Park amenities include water parks, trails, outdoor pavilions, an indoor historic hall, sand volleyball, horseshoes (horseshoes available for use), pontoon boat rental, and nature trails. Entrance to the parks is free, although there is a fee for pavilion rental or water park admission. For more information visit the Lapeer County Parks list. Ten visit multipass and season passes are available for Lapeer County Residents. The ten visit passes are similar to gift certificates in that they can be used by any number of people up to ten visits. Each multipass also includes a free spectator admission with each visit. Family and individual season passes are also available. Water park weatherWater parks may be closed due to inclement weather, which includes temperatures below 70 degrees and/or a large chance of predicted rain. Closure updates for the Torzewski Wetlands call (810) 664-6091 or for the General Squier Mill Race call (810) 796-2380. Decisions to close the water parks are usually made by 10:15 a.m. Cottage RentalWe are currently accepting applications for those interested in renting our 3 bedroom cottage at General Squier Park for $750 (includes heat and electricity). Interested applicants can print out an application or get one from our office. Call (810) 667-0304 for more information.
